            Being a women is  something really special . womanhood is a divine gift.we are the creator and mother is the living god.like this ornamental and decorative flattering' s are many.but in real ,we are in plight.
            Since from birth ,we are forced to live in lines.we are not suppose to deviate .any such deviation to the outside world are considered as misbehavior she is tagged as an outcast.
              My question is why always every where women are focused  women are forced to follow all the traditions and convictions.every chains and bondages are meant  for "her " and "him" is always an exceptional category.
            Education career and marriage,everywhere women has to overcome several obstacles.we are not crying for freedom from anyone.understand us.don't put the tag of    " feminist  "upon us.
             we too have a soul craving for fulfillment and stop preventing us .we are really fed up with your terms of claim -"protection and safety".it is your prejudice that make you think so,admit it openly and take off the mask of protectors.
                       "Protection and Pretension" are really distant terms.we are now aware of your protections and pretensions.the same protective god father's and grand father's  are tearing the femininity for their  carving sexual pleasures.we have enough examples to substantiate.
                       we are protected and exploited by the same hands.we know that you are multifaceted Janet.
                            As we are living in  a sexually motivated world,women has  to beg for self respect.we are loosing our sanctity .we are hunted publicly and the action and reaction is silence.in your silence we can measure the depth of violence.

GOD OF SMALL THINGS

Who is the narrator of God Of Small Things?Is it Rahel,yes the novel starts with Rahels entry to Ayyemanem ,but there is some one who introduced Rahel to us may be the omnipotent god in the title itself,Rahel is coming to take care of her loving brother Estha.Roy discusses some great gender issues through this novel.we can analyse it when Ammu returns to Ayyemenam with her two children,Chacko who also back to home after his Failed married life at that time was well recived,but Ammu was ill treated,the despotisms of the society over women during that period was clearly pictured by Roy in her legendary work

                        Ammu lived a life of her choice,we could  find a slight resemblence with Flauberts Emma with Ammu,beacause in a way Emma and Ammu are romantic idealist.Ammu never concrned about the society or even her children,she openly expressed her love towards Velutha, which resulted in Veluthas death,Marxism played a great role in this novel ,but the question arise is this who is a real Marxist? for whom actually that philosophy stands for? is it for the downtrodden community what they really claims as or for the land lords for vote and support the really matters at that time.Velutha was killed brutally at the police lock-up.he was a real Marxist whoose idologies are as red as his blood..but time always stands with the masked politician like Comrade Pillai,as the fortune wheels turns time claims him as a Legendry hero.

                                  Again Chacko who is the representative of male shovanism travells through out the novel with the same face,we never see him changed,but time changes, society changes, at the end rahel shows the bravery to say openly that she was divorced, but the novel didnt gave us a hope of change from the administrative patterns that Comrede Pillai is seen as croocked as before at the end.

                                   what really ad mires me in this novel is the character Ammu and the kind of freedom the character attributes in a restricted,cast ridden society.Ammu lived her life on her choice,Estha admires Ammu for what she was

SCARLET LETTER- A GOTHIC LOVE STORY

Is Adultry a sin?when we take Hawthrones scarlet letter we will get the picture of an american society which considered adultery as a sin.our heroine Hyster Pryne itself is a victim of that.she had a partner in sin for that,but she or the society in which she lives doesnt allow her to reveal his identity,but we the readers from the firt itself came to know that it is reverent Arthur Dimmisdale,her husband MR Roger Chillingworth which she thought of loosing years back entered in to the plot at the right moment.she with her child was force to stand in the scaffold infront of the public.roger never show any signs of familiarity,he tries to go deep into the mystery of secrets.a womens heart is as deep as an ocean.Hyster proves it with her silence. she managed to live in the same society.she loves Dimmisdale,it was not a love build up on lust,it was true and deep. she meets him at night, and he is getting paler and paler due to his inner sin. is love a sin? it is the courage of the writer which takes a decision by the characters for an elopment in a religious christian society.but we have wicked characters like Chillingworth every where in the society.the open admition of dimmisdale about his sin is a sign of great change that gonna happen in the society.the death of  Dimmisdale beacause of inner sin and the death of chillingworth out of outer sin is the expected end of that characters.pearl the prouduct of divine love moulded by hatred experinces is the scoring character and the transformation of Hyster into a saintly character is the very transformation of the american society itself.
