Karuthamma v/s Indulekha-A Comparitive study

Indulekha Chandu Menons most celebrated piece of art wins the test of time,Indulekha who is the heroine character stands as a role model for the women hood of kerala.she stands for her courage and bravery,she was the only girl who acquired english education during that period,we can compare  Indulekha with Thakazhis karuthamma,beacause both of them share certain common aspects.even karthumma was brave.ok lets start with Indulekha,she was deeply in love with Madhavan,but curing the opening scenes,she is not openly admitting that,it was after Madhavans depressive attitude,Indulekha expresses her love,so she was enjoying it her own,this is what we can see in karuthamma's attitude towards Pareekutty,she never admit it openly,for her also it was kind of personal ecstacy,again when we compare both of their family back ground,they face rigorous restrictions from the family,it was Panchu Menon who dominated Indulekha,while Chemban kunju in karuthammas side,but thier way of resistace was different,Indulekha who got engflish education showed a kind of protest towards all traditional superstitions while karuthamma tolerated all the regulations of fisherman's clan.so education shaped the very attitude in both characters,indulekha stands for progression while karuthamma stands for tradition
                                                          when we analyse thier love,Indulekha beacuse of her progressive education was consistent,while karuthamma was dangling between her love and family,Indulekha showed her courage to say that she will only marry Madhavan ,but karuthamma showed her courage to forget her love.marriage proposal was a kind of twist in both of them's life,for Indulekha it was a kind of mockery while karuthamma was in a period of transition,she want to marry Palani,for her it was a kind of rescue from the tortures of love.when we compare palani and madhavan ,even though palani didnt get any formal education,he was more gentle beacause when every body questioned the chastity of karuthamma he fought for his wife,but madhan with all the education eloped doubting Indulekhas love,so the atmosphere of doubt and a mis understanding occured in both affairs,Indulekha who had a strong character resisted all the test of time and proved her chaste love,she fought and win her love while karuthamma surrendered herself infront of her feelings towards pareekutty,again one question arise who is more chaste?

we can see Flaubert's  magic in Madam Bovary.it is where we can see Romanticism at its extreme.Emma Bovary is a romantic idealist. Charles is a man who lives in the real world.he is in midst of realities while Emma on romantic fantasies.it is quite interesting to know that they were in love.Emma always move from things constantly.when we analyse her character it is seen that she got bored with things soon.while they were in love ,for Emma it was a new kind of experience and after the marriage she lost her interest in charles.
                                                   Even pregnancy didn't delighted her.Here we can appreciate the for sight of the author because years ago flaubert warns us about an adulteress world.Emma being bored of Charles made affair with Leon and Lheurex.but again whom should we blame?Emma or Charles? Charles was less romantic and was constantly worried about his financial liabilities.Emma never live in a real world,she wanders in a romantic world.she was a total failure as a mother and as a wife again where did she succeed in her life?she committed suicide at last.so what was her dream? why did she do all these things,just to commit suicide?but Emma posses that courage and will power. Emma was a strong women who dar to live her life as per her dreams.

Davinchi code is Dan Browns ever green piece of art.why can't we consider it as a classic? because the creativity is to be appreciated.once we go through that book,we will be over whelmed by its source of information.Dan Brown has taken a great effort to shape that book.Again,when we think about Langdon and Sophie,we will be surprised by the wonder full relationship they share.Was it  love or an infatuation.No,i would like to believe it as love, because in them it applies some magic.
                                                 Critics versions are different,they claim it as anti religious etc etc.but  why should we go to that extend ? why can't we read and accept it as piece of work in its perfect aesthetics.I think still in our society there are many who had completely ignored this book.the Lauire Museum ,Princess Sophie and the Fibinoxi series will lead you to a different world of secrets and  mysteries.so guys read it and tell me what you feel about this book?A work that stands the test of time can be regarded as a classic,in that way lets see how people will accept it in the long run.Lets put our finger's crossed.

Chetan Bhagat has published his new book revolution 2020 .it says the story of 2 friends Raghav and Gopal,and their love for Aarati, off course it have a usual start,like all his books.but some how it shares something..A message is conveyed,. the book is not a page turner.we would be impressed by certain aspects of this book.Gopal an low class farmer boys chase for money,and Raghav's spirit of revolution is a different kind of charecterisation from Chetan's side.Actually the book is against corruption.which is almost tearing the country apart.so as a dutiful citizen let's be a part of Chetan's revolution and make our country a better place to live.
